Master’s Tea with Jayne O’Donnell

Jayne O’Donnell is USA TODAY’s healthcare policy reporter. She focuses on the Affordable Care Act and other policies and programs that affect consumers’ health, safety, and insurance coverage. Along with her other reporting in 2015, Jayne  worked on a project that looked at the effects states’ Medicaid expansion decisions were having on the health of their citizens, hospitals and state and local budgets. She has won several public service and journalism awards for her work alerting the public to auto safety hazards, most notably for her 1996 articles exposing the dangers air bags posed to children.
