Jackie Ferro was born and raised in Nanuet, NY, a small suburb outside the city wedged between the Hudson River and New Jersey. She is a proud Film and Media Studies major as well as a proud Branfordian. On campus, she primarily works on student film and theater. She also has sung a cappella with Out of the Blue for the past three years (and was the group’s business manager for a year as well) and hopes to continue singing with another mixed group this year! Other extra-curricular odds and ends include being on the staff of The Record, running the Bulldog Productions Writer’s Trust, and serving on the board of the Yale Film Alliance and Yale Student Film Festival. When not participating enthusiastically in arts culture at Yale, Jackie loves being as involved in the Branford community as possible. Whether that’s on the IM fields, on the Nuttery staff, as co-president of BCC, or this year as a Branford FroCo, she loves getting to connect with fellow squirrels! She can’t wait to welcome the class of 2020 to the best residential college at Yale!
