Lauren Zucker is an Associate Vice President and Director of New Haven Affairs at Yale and Director of University Properties. In this role, she works to implement Yale’s strategic municipal and community relationships. Her responsibilities include managing interactions with all City departments and elected officials. Lauren also focuses on fostering economic development, strengthening neighborhoods, and leading the University’s support of the New Haven public school reform effort and University educational outreach initiatives. Lauren came to Yale from Goldman, Sachs & Co. after over 15 years with the company. At Goldman, she led the development of many businesses within the real estate sector. Directly prior to joining Yale, Ms. Zucker was located in Hong Kong where she spent most of her time focused on developing urban centers in China. She earned an A.B. from Brown University and holds an M.B.A. from Harvard University.
