Born and raised in Southern California, Rachel Paul experienced her first snow ever in the Vanderbilt courtyard and now after three years is so excited to be living where she started her Yale career. After flirting with the Film Studies and Art majors Rachel finally decided on the English major and enjoys a wide range of work from science fiction to eighteenth century poetry. She hopes to pursue a career in publishing or in education after graduation. When she’s not studying, Rachel makes jokes with her improv comedy group The Purple Crayon, writes for campus publications, volunteers at the Yale Farm, and re-watches her favorite episodes of Gilmore Girls. She is involved in the theater communities as well as the religious communities on campus. Most importantly, Rachel believes Branford College to be the best college there is in the whole world and is so excited to welcome the class of 2020!
