Ronnie Rysz

Ronnie currently serves as the communications manager for the Office of Facilities at Yale. He guides the capital program’s funding proposal process for projects in design and construction and manages content across the department’s portfolio of communications channels. He transitioned from a complementary role at the Yale Center for British Art, where he collaborated with cultural partners spanning the U.S. and U.K. Prior to joining Yale, Ronnie served in communications and artistic roles at cultural organizations and the prosthetics industry. Ronnie received his B.F.A. from the Lyme Academy College of Fine Art in Old Lyme and studied art and design at the School of Visual Arts in New York.

Ronnie maintains a studio practice in Connecticut and creates artwork that addresses sociopolitical concerns, some of which is found in public and private collections. His work is exhibited nationally, and he is the recipient of several grants and fellowships. Ronnie and his partner, Tori, cofounded Rysz + Rysz, a writing project dedicated to creative pairings.

In addition to his commitment to art and architecture, Ronnie enjoys cooking and experiments with recipes collected from his travels. He can be spotted cycling on the road or in the woods, depending on the season.
