Ruby Park is a rising sophomore who was born in Daejeon, Korea but lived more than half her life in Los Angeles, California. She is a prospective physics and English major who loves STEM and humanities indiscriminately. When she isn’t grinding out her essays and p-sets in Branford Library, she can most often be found gushing about the latest BTS news and songs, sketching and painting her favorite Studio Ghibli characters and singing opera in the Branford dance room (trust me, it has amazing acoustics)! During her first year, she had a lot of fun participating in the student run production of “McDeath” and singing in the Opera Theatre of Yale College’s production of “The Tender Land”. Aside from performing and sneaking chocolate covered pretzels from the dining hall, she loves trying to randomly harmonize with her friends in the Branford basement. BFA!
