Abby currently is the Director of Communications for Medical Education at Yale School of Medicine. She has held two other positions at Yale: Special Assistant to the Dean at Yale School of Management (six years) and Director of Alumni Affairs at Yale Law School (four and one-half years).
Before returning to Yale, where Abby attended college and law school, Abby spent two years clerking for judges and eleven years as a lawyer for the federal government, predominantly focusing on firearms and explosives law and policy.
Outside of work, Abby is active in the New Haven community. She was a member of New Haven’s Board of Alders representing parts of Downtown, lower East Rock, and Wooster Square for six years. She is on the Board of the New Haven Preservation Trust and active with traffic safety advocacy, including with the Safe Streets Coalition of New Haven.
