Alden Ferro

Communications Officer, Yale Law School

Alden has been a communications officer at Yale Law School since September 2018, which means that he writes news and feature stories about the school for print and the web, including for the Yale Law Report alumni magazine. He also manages the Law School’s social media channels, and works on a number of other projects and initiatives.

Prior to the Law School, Alden was a Publicist at Yale University Press since 2004. There, he worked on a wide range of the Press’ general interest, scholarly, and art books and worked with the media to promote YUP’s books and authors. Books he has worked on have been reviewed in places such as the New York Times Book Review, The Washington Post, and The New Yorker, and his authors have been interviewed everywhere from NPR to The Daily Show and the Colbert Report.

He loves cooking, music of all varieties, travel, and working on his c.1870 house in New Haven. He lives in East Rock with his husband, where he has managed to successfully grow his own lime tree. He’d love to hear from Branford students! You can find him at alden.ferro@yale.edu.
