I am a freshman advisor and teach a freshman seminar on Shakespeare and Music through the Humanities Department. My work in the School of Music and in the Institute of Sacred Music involves Historically Informed Performance, or approaching music from earlier eras using tools appropriate to the period. I sing professionally and I write for Opera News and other publications.
