Kira is deputy director of communications in Yale’s Office of Development, where she supports the university’s fundraising efforts through strategic storytelling about the impact of philanthropy at Yale. Prior to coming to Yale in 2012, she worked for major book publishers in New York City. She holds a BA and MA in English from Fordham University. Kira is also a certified yoga teacher, having earned her 200-hour certification in 2023 at Breathing Room Yoga Center in New Haven, where she occasionally teaches vinyasa classes. She lives in Guilford with her school-aged son and two Guinea pigs.
