Marney White

Professor White is a Clinical Psychologist and an Associate Professor in the Departments of Psychiatry and Chronic Disease Epidemiology (Public Health).  

Her clinical specialty and research interests include the prevention and treatment of eating disorders, obesity, and weight-related problems and the intersection of tobacco use/ cigarette smoking and eating problems.  At Yale, she teaches courses in Psychotherapy (in the Department of Psychology) and in the Social and Behavioral Foundations of Health (in Public Health).  She is also part of the Yale Tobacco Center for Regulatory Science, and directs the graduate course in Regulatory and Scientific Issues of Tobacco Use.
