Aicha Woods is a senior associate at Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects, a practicing visual artist and is an active volunteer organizer of New Haven based arts and place-making projects.
At PCPA, Aicha’s current focus is Vietnam where she had a lead role in the design and construction oversight of a high rise tower in Ho Chi Minh City as well as business development in Vietnam.
In New Haven, Aicha co-organized Under91 large scale graffiti mural project and Mill River Trail, among many other community driven projects.
Aicha graduated with a BA in Architecture from UC Berkeley and a MArch from Yale School of Architecture.
Aicha lives in the East Rock neighborhood of New Haven with her husband Dave Coon and their two children. Her eldest son is currently serving in the US Navy.
