Saveena Dhall has been at Yale College since August 2000. Prior to joining the staff at the Yale College Dean’s Office, Saveena worked in the Office of Academic and Student Affairs at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design with a special focus on programming for students of color, international students, students with disabilities and women at the School of Design (both students and faculty). She received her master’s in Administration, Planning and Social Policy from the Harvard University Graduate School of Education. Her previous experience includes working as a Senior Facilitator with the Inter-Relations Collaborative (IRC), a multicultural education leadership training program, serving as an Admission Officer, and working with youth focused community organizations. At Yale, most of Saveena’s time is split between managing the cultural center and working with programs she directs at the Yale College Dean’s Office. She often meets with students on a variety of issues (academic, adjustment from home community to Yale, connecting to cultural resources, career/summer opportunities planning, etc.) on an individual basis.
