Kirk Keen

Kirk D. Keen MFA’19 has designed performing arts centers around the world as a theatre consultant with expertise in integrated technology systems and project management. He also spent several years at the Portland Art Museum in Portland, OR as production manager for more than 1,000 events annually, as well as supported many theatrical and live events as a technical manager or designer across the country.

Today, as the program logistics manager at Yale Schwarzman Center, Kirk is responsible for managing YSC’s building operations in support of programs and productions. An alumnus of Yale School of Drama, now the David Geffen School of Drama at Yale, Kirk earned noteworthy honors while pursuing his MFA, including the Allen M. & Hildred L. Harvey Prize for best technical writing or thesis (2019), the Jeff and Pam Rank Scholarship (2018), and the Nicholas G. Ciriello Scholarship (2017).

Kirk comes to New Haven by way of Levelland, Texas. His interests outside of work include digital modeling, art, math, engineering, theatre, poetry, prose, and Dungeons & Dragons.
