Hi everyone! Welcome to Branford! I’m Mariana, a third year MD-PhD student at the school of medicine. I also did my undergraduate years at Yale, as a proud member of the Branford Class of 2017! During college, I discovered a passion for pursuing cancer biology research alongside medical training. I spent two years post-graduation investigating cancer drug resistance at the Broad Institute in Cambridge, MA. Outside of science and medicine, I love drawing and painting, watching movies, reading, knitting, and baking! I’m so excited to meet everyone and to have some fun events this year!
