Elizabeth K. Gill is the Assistant Dean for Career Development at Yale University’s Jackson School of Global Affairs. Ever since Jackson started as an institute back in 2010, Elizabeth has been coaching students in both the Master’s in Public Policy program and the undergraduate global affairs major.
One of Elizabeth’s favorite parts of her job is helping students craft applications for a wide array of roles across different sectors. She also enjoys creating programs that encourage students to explore various career paths. Elizabeth is actively involved in the broader career development community, serving on several committees through the National Association of Colleges and Employers and the Association of Professional Schools in International Affairs.
Before making her way to Yale, Elizabeth was at Duke University in North Carolina and spent a memorable year teaching English in China at Shandong University. She earned her M.A. in Liberal Studies from Duke University and her B.A. in East Asian Studies from The College of Wooster in Ohio. Elizabeth is excited to welcome new students to the Yale community. Elizabeth currently has a daughter at Connecticut College who is studying biology and technical theater.
