Aseem Mehta

Aseem Mehta is a second-year student at Yale Law School and a Branford alum (2014). He dreams of a world without borders- adn focuses his work and study on bringing it to life. Aseem has represented immigrants in legal proceedings in New York and South Texas, organized with detained refugees challenging their confinement and directed a documentary film examining the use of solitary confinement in supermax prisons. He loves to bike and enjoys conversations without direction (that said, some of his favorite topics include storylines in the NBA, dissecting music videos, and trees).
