Ian joined the mathematics department at Yale in 2017. He teachees predominantly in the calculus sequence and has a strong belief that when math is taught in an engaging and inclusive environment every student is capable of learning and success. His research is in the field of differential geometry and he leads SUMRY projects at Yale over the summer.
