Marija Kamceva

Marija Kamceva (pronounced Maria- surprise silent J!) is most recently from northern NJ, but was born in Macedonia. She is a Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology major at Yale, and she’s really interested in all things neuroscience, mental health, and the brain. Outside of academics, she has served on the board of a  number of LGBTQ activist groups, directs a volunteer case management service called No Closed Doors and works with Yale Health as a Peer Health Educator. In her free time she’s either catching up on Scandal or having ridiculously long meals in the dining hall- you can usually find her around Branford (or down the street at Starbucks!). She’s SUPER excited to meet the class of 2018! Feel free to reach out to her if you have any questions (or just want to chat)- Branford friends always!
