Ulas Berk is a PhD student in Computer Science at Yale University, working in the Inquisitive Robotics Lab. His research focuses on Human-Robot Interaction, specifically Human-Robot Collaboration and how robots can learn from humans. Before joining Yale, he completed a master’s degree in Robotics at Johns Hopkins University. Prior to that, he earned his undergraduate degree from Koc University in Turkey, where he double-majored in Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science. Outside of robotics, Ulas is passionate about fitness and has competed in powerlifting multiple times. He is an avid gym-goer. He also enjoys watching movies and reading, particularly in the sci-fi genre.
