“Understanding Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD): The effect of ∆NTF PC1 on GSK3ß activity and PKD cyst formation

Polycystic kidney disease (PKD), characterized by fluid filled cysts in the kidney, affects over 1 in 1000 people and has no cure. Learning more about the mechanism behind the disease is important in finding future therapies. Therefore, this research, conducted at the Caplan Lab at the Yale School of Medicine, seeks to reveal more about the molecular pathways underlying PKD.
